The story behind
the 360.
How a circle drawn on a single page in Kotli Arian became a way of working for villages across Punjab — and a homecoming for families who left them.

Founder — Mera Pind 360 Foundation
Jalandhar, India · Chicago, USA
Bhupinder Singh Hundal is the son of a pind. His family, like countless others, left Punjab for the United States seeking education and work. He never stopped wondering what it would mean to go home.
Long before Mera Pind 360 had a name, he had been sending what he could back to the villages of Punjab — quietly, family by family. No fundraisers, no corporate sponsors, no government grants. Just the families who left, returning what they had been given.
In 2022, he drew a new kind of circle — the 360 — and began registering its first centre in Kotli Arian.
“Serving humanity is a primary duty. When we built the 360, we did not want a clinic, a library, a classroom. We wanted a village, made whole.”

02 · The Teaching
ਸੇਵਾ
Shaheedi & Seva — the foundation of everything we do.
Inspired by the Shaheedi of Guru Arjan Dev Ji and the Seva of Bhagat Puran Singh, Mera Pind 360 walks both paths — keeping our culture and historic values alive, while bringing IT skills, trades, remote webinars, e-health checkups, and city services into our villages.
Guru Arjan Dev Ji taught us to stand for truth even in fire. Bhagat Puran Singh taught us to lift those whom the world forgets. One cluster. Hundreds of youth. One message: Serve Humanity.

03 · Chronology
How the 360 began.
The years of quiet.
For years before the centres existed, the founder sent what he could back to villages quietly, family by family. Only the diaspora carrying back, in private, what they had been given.
The model is announced.
At the Chandigarh Press Club, Hundal announces a new model for rural Punjab — four rooms, one roof — designed to bring NRI families back to the specific village they came from.
Foundation registered.
The Foundation is incorporated at Village Kotli Arian, Adampur, Jalandhar. Library, IT lab, clinic, and service desk all operational by year-end.
Landmark moment — the 360 becomes real.
The model scales.
Sixty villages reach an agreement with the Foundation. In 2024 alone, 4,463 families screened and 14,000+ young people engaged.
A record still being written.
The Foundation continues to welcome NRI families — not to a donation tier, but to the specific pind they came from.
